The following thought is pieced together from some Tweets I made over on my Twitter page:
Raising taxes now, in this economic downturn, is not the answer. Socializing banks is not good. I do believe our President wants to do the right thing, but he has too many people advising him, distracting him.
“Spreading the wealth” around is not the answer. People with money should pay a little more taxes, but not now. Let the economy fix itself.
Businesses that fail or are failing should declare bankruptcy in order to restructure itself. Obama shouldn’t give failing companies billions. That’s like emptying your wallet out an open car window. Poof, it’s gone! New, stronger companies will emerge out of the failed ones, but you have to let them fail first.
I like Obama’s progressive stance on solar, wind, science, and education. I don’t like his approach to the economy.
Ole’ Georgie and his gang did do some stupid stuff while they were in control, but it’s the Democrats and their debacle with Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac that started the downward fall in the economy.
