ep. Barbara Lambert, a freshman Democrat from Milford, CT, is playing spider solitaire in the photo, while Rep. Jack F. Hennessy, a Bridgeport Democrat who has served in Hartford since 2005, is playing regular solitaire.
Nothing else need to be said. These jokers really should not stay in office for more than two terms. No more career [...]

Video of Obama staffer Anita Dunn praising Chairman Mao

White House communications director Anita Dunn says former Communist leader Chairman Mao is one of her favorite philosophers. This bothers me. Why Mao? Mao is said to have been involved in the murder of over 70 million people while establishing his communist regime. What’s wrong with historical leaders from our country such as [...]
Al Gore Sued By Scientists For Global Warming Fraud

Yes. The media, both conservative and liberal, love a crisis. I never really believed in Global Warming. I did like Al Gore’s documentary An Inconvenient Truth, but it never convinced me that the Earth is dying. If anything, I believe the Earth is cooling. Al Gore should debate someone like John [...]
Raising Taxes Now Is Not The Answer
Posted in Political Thoughts, tagged taxes on March 10, 2009 | 2 Comments »
The following thought is pieced together from some Tweets I made over on my Twitter page:
Raising taxes now, in this economic downturn, is not the answer. Socializing banks is not good. I do believe our President wants to do the right thing, but he has too many people advising him, distracting him.
“Spreading the wealth” around [...]
My Thoughts About Obama and Jindal’s Speechs

Good speech by Obama last night; however, it was totally untrue when Obama said he is proud that the Stimulus bill passed free of earmarks.
Personally, and I was hoping for a home run, Gov. Bobby Jindal didn’t deliver with the GOP response. His speech was long winded.
The GOP should have asked Gov. Sarah Palin to [...]
My Analogy Of Obama’s Stimulus Bill

Families all over the country are now finding they have to cut out their own “pet projects” from their budget in order to be able to pay their mortgage and other bills. Vacations, house improvements, cable television, going out to eat, and new clothes are just some of the things people have to do without. Take grocery shopping. You make a list of what you’re family needs to survive on for one week and have a general idea of what you are going spend. As you walk around the grocery store you get the things on your list and fill up your cart. You might be tempted to stray a bit and throw some extra things in your shopping cart. A few items wouldn’t hurt right?
Obama’s Supporters Already Feeling Let Down?
Posted in Political Thoughts, tagged rejected Obama supporters on January 19, 2009 | Leave a Comment »
It’s happening sooner than I thought. It looks as if Obama’s supporters, at least here in Greensboro, may be starting to feel let down. This morning, while reading the editorials in the News & Record, I came across a really interesting letter.
The following is the actual letter to the News & Record editor:
As a concerned [...]
Obama Is Not The First Black President. He’s Biracial!

I wonder if many schools will force students to watch the Inauguration on Tuesday. If so, I suspect it’s because a lot of people are looking at this as a historical moment because Obama is considered to be the first black President. Obama is not the first black President. He’s biracial! I suspect if Obama’s [...]
I’m Not Watching Barry’s Inauguration Next Tuesday
Posted in Political Thoughts, tagged Inauguration on January 15, 2009 | Leave a Comment »
I voted McCain and now support Obama as our 44th President. The next four years will be interesting and I’ll be paying close attention to how he runs our country. However, I do not plan on watching the Presidential Inauguration on Tuesday. Please don’t take my statement as mean spirited, but I do get so [...]
Rahm Emanuel pushed for Valerie Jarrett to take over Obama’s Senate seat just days after the Nov. 4 election!

Contrary to statements made by the Obama camp, the Chicago Sun-Times says Rahm Emanuel’s dealing with Gov. Rod Blagojevich go much deeper!
